Berewood has now taken delivery of the temporary building to house the community facility (hall and meeting room) and office.
Unfortunately the building was not completely prefabricated as ordered and was not set in the right place on site. Therefore in order to reduce further delays Grainger have requested limited additional hours of work. The contractors are being pushed to deliver the building on time and the building should be open by the end of September.
The agreed working hours are:
Monday – Friday: 0800 to 1900
Saturday: 0800 to 1400
No working on Sundays or public holidays

Very heavy rain at the start of the grass cutting season caused some delays for Winchester City Council across the district. This was followed by rain and sunshine causing the grass to grow particularly quickly. In areas of open space adopted by Winchester City Council changes to the cutting programme have been made to address the problem.
